Job Summary:

The Martis Camp Club is seeking a highly skilled and service-oriented individual to fill the role of Busser. As a member of our fine dining team, you will provide exceptional service to our guests and contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and attentive service to members and guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist the team in clearing and setting tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Protect members and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare the dining room for service, setting decorations and ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Perform basic restaurant side-work and additional cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with special events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests.
  • Promptly address service issues and refer members to management when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with members, guests, and fellow staff in a polite and friendly manner.
  • A valid signed work permit (if under 18 years old).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours total, with regular breaks.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, or transport dishes to/from kitchen.
  • Ability to grip silverware, dishware, and drinkware safely.
  • Ability to safely kneel, bend, twist.
  • Ability to safely lift/carry up to 20 pounds max at one time.

Compensation:

$16 - $18 per hour, plus gratuities.
