Center Operations Manager Job Description

Job Summary

The Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more USO Centers, ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire our team members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, quality, and delivery of programs and services at USO Centers
  • Lead a team of operational staff and volunteers to ensure seamless execution of events and activities
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to achieve USO standards of excellence
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and inventory control to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with USO leadership, vendors, and local contractors to ensure effective partnerships and communication
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and quality across USO Centers
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, event management, or marketing, with 1+ year in a supervisory capacity
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications
  • Fluency in English; ability to speak, read, and write in the language of the host country at the native level preferred
