A typical week may involve:
- Performing engineering calculations and developing detailed drawings.
- Participating in Construction Administration tasks and conducting site visits.
- Collaborating with owners, architects, and contractors to foster professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize design software to prepare project Construction Documents.
- Apply relevant building codes and material standards to support project design calculations under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Assist in Construction Administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, addressing RFIs, and performing field observations.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate project designs with clients and team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or a related field.
- Successful completion of the FE Examination.
- 0-4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Undergraduate degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Familiarity with building and material design codes.
- Experience with design software such as AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client service and teamwork.
- Experience in construction environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C++, and VBA.
