Position Overview:

The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in achieving facility objectives related to measurable performance metrics. This position is tasked with ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, employee morale, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to assigned teams.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans.
  • Allocate time effectively between floor supervision and administrative duties.
  • Adhere to company policies and contribute to improving service delivery.

Decision-Making Authority:

The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor is expected to cultivate a supportive work atmosphere while addressing employee concerns and ensuring product quality. This role requires sound judgment in managing employee interactions and optimizing departmental resources.

Direct oversight of team members includes approving time records and enforcing company policies. The supervisor will also engage in employee development activities and make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.


Collaborative Interactions:

Internally, the Fulfillment Operations Supervisor collaborates with various departments, including scheduling, shipping, customer service, production, and human resources. Building strong relationships across these areas is essential for promoting effective communication and customer service.


Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree or relevant coursework preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in fulfillment or related operations.
  • Proficient in PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Experience in team environments with a focus on open communication.
