Job Description

The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our client's projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project documentation to ensure compliance, timely completion, and budget adherence.
  • Obtaining, assembling, and distributing as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.
  • Scheduling projects in logical steps and budgeting time required to meet deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining relationships critical to the project's success.
  • Tracking and analyzing data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs.
  • Obtaining and tracking subcontract bids and negotiating budgets.
  • Preparing and presenting estimate documentation, including gaps in available data.
  • Preparing estimates according to multiple delivery systems and reviewing quotes with the project management team.
  • Assisting with post-bid buyouts and initiating meet and greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements

The successful Senior Estimator will possess:

  • A BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management.
  • Commercial construction estimating experience, preferably 5+ years.
  • Experience with conceptual estimating and ground-up project knowledge.
