  • Develop comprehensive proposals and bids for new projects, including timelines, materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive pricing, and market conditions to enhance bidding strategies and company offerings.
  • Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to specifications.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to management, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and sales staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in asphalt sales estimating, with a strong focus on paving and maintenance projects.
  • In-depth understanding of asphalt materials, installation processes, and maintenance practices. Familiarity with concrete estimating is a plus.
  • Proficient in estimating software and tools. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to clients and team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required based on experience.
