Job Overview

This is a full-time, entry-level position in the restaurant industry, offering an hourly rate of $13 per hour and access to our comprehensive benefits package.

As a Cashier/Runner, you will work closely with our front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain high-quality service and uphold the standards of Brickstones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, communicating any specials or promotions as needed
  • Accurately and efficiently process guest dining orders using a POS system
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring proper change and accurate payment processing
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, including cash drawers and merchandise displays
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages as necessary, including making specialty coffee drinks and scooping ice cream
  • Assist in bussing tables and resetting for incoming guests
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cash handling and customer service preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30lbs for extended periods of time
