Position Title: Accountant

Position Overview: Axis Automation, a dynamic provider of automated solutions, is in search of a dedicated Accountant to join our team. This full-time role will involve collaboration with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial operations. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing month-end journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis, while working closely with various operational departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and manage month-end journal entries efficiently.
  • Oversee prepaids, fixed assets, and commission schedules.
  • Conduct monthly credit card reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are well-supported.
  • Prepare monthly project cost estimate worksheets for the project management team.
  • Facilitate weekly payroll journal entries.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable tasks, including generating customer invoices and statements, supporting collection efforts, and posting customer payments.
  • Compile weekly check runs for management review.
  • Collaborate on various accounting projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Google Suite; ERP experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Professional and effective communication skills.
Compensation: Competitive wage range of $55k-70k annually, based on experience.
