Job Title: CANS District System Support Specialist

This is a senior-level managerial position that oversees the daily operations and activities of an agency's business function, division, or department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of staff in a business function(s), division(s), or department(s) to achieve project goals and objectives for services delivery.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Coordinates and evaluates business function, division, or department activities, including budget development and monitoring.
  • Supervises the work of others, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to the CPS Program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage business function, division, or department activities, including establishing goals and objectives, devising solutions to administrative problems, and developing and evaluating administrative policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures and provide guidance to others.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work independently and develop productive teams, as well as work outside of normal business hours.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a related field are required.
