About the Role

Frisbie Memorial Hospital, a leading medical facility in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine, is seeking a dedicated RN to fill the position of Senior Clinical Quality Patient Safety Specialist.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will lead, coordinate, and carry out assigned clinical quality and patient safety functions to support the hospital's quality and patient safety plan and programs. This role requires a broad and deep knowledge of practice and systems in areas such as quality measurement, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, physician performance improvement, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational readiness and support for Joint Commission and QRS preparation, standards interpretation, surveys, and response.
  • Develop expertise in the use of quality software programs and data reporting systems to achieve goals of case review, data abstraction, management, and reporting.
  • Support the department's quality and safety work through activities like concurrent and retrospective abstraction of records to evaluate compliance with national standards of care.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to lead or support clinical quality improvement committees, teams, and certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • NH Registered Nurse License or valid compact state RN license required.
  • 2-3 years clinical experience in neuroscience nursing, critical care experience including acute neurological care in the emergency department or intensive care setting.
  • Primary Stroke Certification required.
