Frisbie Memorial Hospital, a leading medical facility in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine, is seeking an experienced RN to fill the role of Senior Clinical Quality Patient Safety Specialist. This position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care and safety.

About the Role:

As a Senior Clinical Quality Patient Safety Specialist at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing various clinical quality and patient safety functions to support the hospital's quality and patient safety initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of practice and systems within the assigned responsibilities, including quality measurement, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, physician performance improvement, and patient safety functions.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of Joint Commission, National Patient Safety Goals, CSIP Program, and Leapfrog Group Safety Initiatives, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with hospital department representatives and drive compliance through data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead organizational readiness and support for Joint Commission and QRS preparation, standards interpretation, surveys, and response
  • Support clinical quality improvement committees, teams, and organizational regulatory readiness and certification
  • Develop expertise in using various quality software programs and data reporting systems to achieve case review, data abstraction, management, and reporting goals
  • Participate in incident reviews and case analysis to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • NH Registered Nurse License or valid compact state RN license required
  • 2-3 years clinical experience in neuroscience nursing, critical care experience, including acute neurological care in the emergency department or intensive care setting
  • Primary Stroke Certification required

About the Salary:

The salary range for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
