Position Summary

We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. This role involves both shop-based and fieldwork, engaging directly with clients to conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and execute high-quality mechanical repairs on various machine components. The ideal candidate will be a dependable and trustworthy team member, committed to maintaining accurate work records, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring the upkeep of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on company-owned machinery.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on client equipment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
  • Complete additional tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical School Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback.
  • Commitment to safety standards.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with computer diagnostics is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Overtime may be necessary on occasion.
  • Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions is expected.
  • Physical ability to maneuver around large machinery for inspections and repairs, including climbing stairs and ladders.
