Upon completion of this assignment, individuals may be eligible to pursue regular employment opportunities within the MaineHealth network, provided that suitable positions are available that match their skill sets. - Job Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services and life support to patients experiencing cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities, catering to a diverse age range from neonates to seniors, under the guidance of a physician and according to prescribed protocols.
- Essential Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licenses/Certifications: A valid state license in Respiratory Care is mandatory, along with RRT or CRRT certification. BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required, while NALS certification is preferred. Additional certifications may be necessary based on departmental guidelines.
- Experience: Not applicable.
