Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our team at MaineHealth.

Job Summary:

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to ill patients, and maintains a safe and clean environment as delegated under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

* Provides patient care and support as delegated by the Registered Nurse
* Assists patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients
* Responds to patient needs and communicates effectively with the healthcare team
* Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

* Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (state of NH) or Certified Nursing Assistant (state of ME) Certification
* Current BCLS preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to respond to changing workload based on patient census
* Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations
