Position Title: Senior Sales Executive

Compensation:
At Pearson, compensation is influenced by various factors, including skill set, experience level, and specific location. As mandated by applicable laws, the salary range for this position is:

Minimum full-time salary range: $62,000 - $125,000.
This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan, and additional benefits can be found on our benefits page.

Travel Requirements:
20% - 30%

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate clients about our training solutions.
- Develop and sustain new business; deliver exceptional service to existing clients.
- Communicate the values and services of Pearson VUE effectively.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Identify, forecast, and achieve sales objectives utilizing tools such as Salesforce.
- Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling and email outreach.
- Address client business needs promptly.
- Stay informed about company offerings and industry trends.
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals.
- Leverage internal and external resources to streamline workflow (Salesforce for tracking progress, Microsoft Office 365, etc.).

Accountabilities:
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas and goals.
- Establish new relationships with customers not currently utilizing Pearson VUE training or materials.
- Maintain existing customer relationships that will purchase Pearson VUE products.

Key Skills:
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in IT, networking, or Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
- Understanding of client needs with the capability to negotiate costs and services.
- Proven ability to close customer contracts and generate new sales.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Experience in the technical or IT training sector is preferred.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, and business systems (Salesforce).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, building relationships and communicating effectively within the sales organization.
- Any Pearson IT Specialist Certification is a plus.
