We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Procurement Lead to join our Commercial / Marketing category. This role will shape and support the definition and implementation of the Global Insights & Analytics Category strategy. Our Global Procurement team is investing in resources to support the team growth and anticipated growth in spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the definition and implementation of the global Insights & Analytics Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.
- Working closely with stakeholders to manage discussions related to the Insights & Analytics Categories and aligning category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
- Leading negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Insights & Analytics Category.
- Helping to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
- Representing the Global Procurement strategic vision via participating in organizational decisions with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results.
- Managing category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron's priorities and business requirements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working within Insights & Analytics categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Demonstrated experience working within an efficient global procurement organization to support the growth and evolution of innovative sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
- Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron's knowledge of supply market dynamics.
- Experience managing associate level professionals preferred.
- Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and eRFx systems preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, sourcing & category management - experience in Pharma/BioPharma is a plus.
