About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Gentiva. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and ambulation
  • Help patients maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
  • Document patient care and progress
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
