The Role

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a strong focus on psychotherapy to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a flexible opportunity with no weekend hours, allowing you to work 8 hours per week or more.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate direct patient care, encompassing comprehensive mental health evaluations, diagnostic assessments, personalized care plans, and follow-up as needed.
  • Diagnosing, triaging, supporting, and managing high-acuity mental health conditions, including crisis interventions, treatment-resistant depression, suicidality, and mood disorders.
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, nurse practitioners, wellness practitioners, and other clinicians to deliver a comprehensive suite of services.
  • Supervising clinicians when necessary and delivering individual, group, and family/couples psychotherapy according to established treatment plans and best practice standards.
  • Monitoring and following up with patients to evaluate outcomes and help them reach their goals.
Requirements for the Role

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

  • A Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted New York state licensure and current registration in your respective field.
  • At least 5 years of outpatient clinical experience with a strong focus on psychotherapy, preferably in a team-based setting.
  • A core belief in our clinical model and a desire to work within a progressive, modern mental health practice.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, patients, and their loved ones.

Compensation
