Job Responsibilities:

The mental health service strives to provide safe and holistic therapeutic interventions for individuals with mental health needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans after consulting with the mental health care team and reviewing relevant information.
  • Evaluating patients for higher levels of care and escalating care as necessary.
  • Documenting all activities in the electronic medical record.
  • Integrating nursing and medical concepts to plan care for medically complicated psychiatric patients.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse, as well as a current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the NYSED.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
