Optician

We are seeking a highly skilled Optician to join our team at Sam's Club. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, and organizing product displays.
• Maintains the Sales Floor in Optical area by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and arranging merchandise.
• Receives and stocks merchandise, and organizes and maintains the Optical area by following company procedures.
• Operates hardware such as cash registers, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Sells Optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in optical sales or customer service preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
