An established international manufacturer of machine components is actively seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to enhance their operations.
This role is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity on the day shift. Candidates at the entry-level are welcome to apply, as comprehensive training on all equipment and processes will be provided.This position involves local travel to client sites to deliver on-site support for products and machinery.
Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Technician Include:
Assisting engineering teams with new initiatives and process enhancements.
Providing assembly and technical assistance at customer locations within the metropolitan area.
Setting up, dismantling, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial machinery, particularly automated welding systems and robotic technologies.
Supporting the implementation of new machinery and modifications to facility layouts.
Gathering data related to production, quality, and projects, and preparing documentation for management review.
Ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications for the Engineering Technician Include:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
1-3 years of experience in a role such as engineering technician, process technician, or maintenance technician, ideally with a focus on robotics and production machinery.
A technical mindset with strong analytical skills and effective time management abilities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach in a diverse work environment.
This position entails working in a manufacturing and warehousing setting.
While performing the responsibilities of this role, you may need to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and lift heavier items with assistance. You may also be required to climb stairs, use hands to handle parts or equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend at the waist, as well as talk and hear.
