Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Fermentation Specialist to become a vital part of our brewing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fermentation, cellaring, filtration, brewing, and sanitation processes in accordance with industry best practices.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout raw material handling and cellar operations.
• Document and verify all necessary data within the brewing facility.
• Prepare daily logs for operational oversight and input data into production management systems.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of raw and process materials.
• Provide samples for laboratory testing as required.
• Monitor the mechanical and operational performance of brewing equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance on all production equipment, including fermentation and filtration systems.
• Engage in effective communication with team members.
• Work flexible shifts as assigned.
• Utilize cleaning agents in compliance with established protocols and safety regulations.
• Uphold sanitary standards to ensure product integrity.
• Maintain the operational and visual condition of the brewing facility.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

• A technical degree from a two-year college is preferred; formal brewing education is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures, while standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong ability to follow and comprehend standard operating procedures, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
• Capability to lift 55 lbs and occasionally move 165 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours daily.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience operating a forklift is advantageous.
