About the Role
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Team Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of the team, enhancing revenue streams, and implementing strategies to boost fan engagement and community involvement. The SVP will lead a dynamic team focused on innovative marketing strategies, community outreach, and event execution that align with the organization's business objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all game day operations and presentations are executed flawlessly, contributing to the overall success of the team and its reputation within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of fan engagement and operational management, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing initiatives, and game day experiences.
- Collaborate with league executives to define and achieve the team's operational goals and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across various platforms to maximize outreach and engagement.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team across all operational functions, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Manage game day operations, ensuring that all elements are in place for an outstanding fan experience and effective brand promotion.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill contractual obligations and enhance the overall game day atmosphere.
- Engage with fans through various promotional activities and community events, enhancing the team's visibility and connection with the audience.
- Identify and pursue sponsorship and partnership opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor budgets and performance metrics to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex teams.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, sales, or revenue generation, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong understanding of consumer engagement strategies and the ability to execute successful campaigns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in event planning and management, particularly in a sports or entertainment context.
- Ability to navigate complex business challenges and devise innovative solutions.
- Proven success in increasing revenue and enhancing brand visibility.
- Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
This position is hybrid, requiring attendance at all games and events. The role may involve some physical activity, including lifting and moving materials. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as evenings and weekends may be required.
