Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic care team at one of our nursing homes. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing routine daily nursing care to our residents, working closely with our licensed staff nurses to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Participate in planning and following current resident care plans
  • Document resident care accurately and completely
  • Meet personal grooming needs for each resident
  • Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner
  • Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relations
  • Follow facility policy and procedures

Requirements

  • Must hold an active, unencumbered CNA license in the state or be in the process of obtaining one
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
