Overview:

As a pivotal member of our operational team, the Driver/Porter role is essential for the effective management of our vehicle logistics. This position is tailored for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive and document vehicles in our inventory systems.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the efficient storage and movement of vehicles to enhance operational productivity.
  • Operational Support: Work closely with the Yard Manager to ensure daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties:
  • Perform tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Adapt to unexpected challenges and changes in the work environment.
  • Work effectively in various weather conditions.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Assist with property maintenance as needed.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of company vehicles.
  • Ensure a safe and clean workplace in compliance with local, state, and OSHA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with facility operations.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • All candidates will undergo drug screening and background checks.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour.
  • Benefits Include:
    401(k) matching, AD&D insurance, dental, health, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a referral program.
  • Supplemental Pay: Differential pay available.
  • Truck Driver Type: Solo and team driving opportunities.
  • Trucking Route: Local.
