Job Overview

KARM Stores is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Management Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our retail management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and security of all transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transaction Processing: Assist the Retail Management team in processing register transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments, and ensuring the accuracy and security of all transactions.
  2. Customer Service: Work with the Retail Management team to establish and maintain customer service standards, ensuring compliance with the company mission statement and providing a pleasant shopping experience for each customer.
  3. Store Operations: Assist store staff in stocking store shelves and clothing racks, providing customers with maximum shopping opportunities.
  4. Area Identification: Help identify areas on the retail floor that need attention related to pulls, merchandising, recovery, and other tasks.
  5. Employee Training: Work with the Retail Manager to train new employees, ensuring they have the necessary training to be successful in their position.
  6. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete Daily Reconciliation Sales Reports, bank deposits, Daily Sales charts, Category Sales chart, and Donations charts, and properly save and store all paperwork to ensure truthful reporting and recording of daily sales and donations.
  7. Leadership and Teamwork: Help lead and equip the team by living out KARM Stores' mission and core values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.
Requirements
  1. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with an excellent command of the English language.
  2. Commitment to Mission: A commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer Skills: Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Instruction Following: Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Physical Demands: Stand – up to 100% of a standard work day, lifting and bending – up to 75% of a standard work day, and moderate to heavy physical activity.
