Arista Networks is seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our networking products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and stability of our software and hardware products.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in functional specification and software design reviews to ensure that our products meet customer needs and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in software testing methodologies and test planning.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, IGMP, PIM SM/SSM, QoS, and L2-L3 protocols.
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages, such as IXIA and/or Spirent test tools.
  • BS CS/CE/EE degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • CCIE certification a plus.
