Systems Engineering Integration and Test Specialist

Job Summary:
Become a key member of our cross-functional team as a Systems Engineering Integration and Test Specialist at BAE Systems USA. In this role, you will design, integrate, debug, and test next-generation EW systems, delivering innovative Electronic Warfare solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW-related programs
- Manage all system engineering content and work products
- Understand and implement the product development process
- Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems teams
- Execution of systems planning and requirements development
- Creation and review of systems requirements to include software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
- Allocation of requirements to engineering disciplines
- Creating system test plans, procedures, and reports
- Leading product design, development, integration, and verification
- Will have outside contact with customers, other contractors, and government officials
- Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
- Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
- Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of 12+ years with BS, 10+ years with MS, or 8+ years with PhD
- Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading, and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline and 11 years of experience or PhD with 9 years of experience
- Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature
- Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems
- Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management
- Model-based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw
- Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
- Active United States security clearance, Top Secret, SCI Eligible
