Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team at Cambrex. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in Human Resources to gain hands-on experience and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in various functions, including:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Participate in campus recruiting events and career fairs to promote Cambrex as an employer of choice.
- Support the candidate experience by maintaining communication and providing updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Employee Engagement:
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events.
- Gather feedback from employees on engagement programs and suggest improvements.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations for internal meetings.
- Support compliance efforts by helping to ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively.
- Special Projects:
- Collaborate on HR projects related to talent management, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on HR best practices and industry trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidates must currently be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
