Job Summary
As Black Rifle Coffee Company continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for enthusiastic Team Members/Baristas who can enhance our success by delivering outstanding service to our customers. Key responsibilities include offering high-quality products, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining a tidy and organized store environment, all while demonstrating a friendly service attitude. Success in this role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a genuine enthusiasm for the Black Rifle Coffee culture.
Job Details

Leadership and Functional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clear focus on our mission and strive to achieve our objectives as a company, store, and individuals.
  • Pay close attention to detail when preparing quality beverages, retail items, and food products, adhering to all standards regarding recipes, product quality, and health and safety.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and well-set workstation according to Black Rifle Coffee Company standards, ensuring all equipment is functional and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of our customers and the store based on customer cues and the store environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management, assist in training new team members, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere and store culture.
  • Act with transparency, integrity, and commitment, promoting the culture and mission of Black Rifle Coffee Company.
  • Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and health regulations.
  • Celebrate team and individual accomplishments while fostering store morale and the culture at Black Rifle Coffee Company.
  • Maintain a customer-first attitude and a calm demeanor at all times.

Education and Skill Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Barista or server is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn new coffee techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand customers' preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a part-time position that may require long hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, rotate, and reach.
  • Ability to work with mechanical and brewing equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision due to computer work or brewing equipment.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required, including hours driven by business demands.
  • Ability to work in a confined area.
  • Ability to sit or stand at a terminal for extended periods.
