The Service Technician for Field Operations will undertake on-site maintenance, repairs, and enhancements across the various subsidiary companies of SF Industries. Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repair Duties:
    • Perform comprehensive evaluations of both residential and commercial properties to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
    • Execute a diverse array of maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical work, drywall repairs, and general upkeep.
    • Ensure all tasks comply with company and industry standards.
    • Effectively communicate with clients regarding maintenance outcomes, repair necessities, and service protocols.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Skilled in maintenance, repairs, and general improvement tasks across various trades (plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.).
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Military veteran status is a significant advantage.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; relevant trade certifications are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
