Job Overview

Position: Metal Fabrication Specialist

Shift: 1st shift 7:30am-4:00pm M-F

Compensation: $24-$35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting production orders to prepare components and weld parts into assemblies.
  • Executing welding tasks in compliance with established company procedures and documentation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Identifying and proposing innovative methods, processes, or equipment to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in welding.
  • Possession of certifications in welding per ASME standards.
  • Proficient in reading and applying Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Experience in Mig/Tig welding on Carbon Steel.
  • Familiarity with blueprint utilization.
  • Hands-on experience in welding and fabrication processes, including cutting, punching, and grinding.
  • Experience in welding pipes or pressure vessels/pressure tanks.

Work Environment:

This role is fully on-site, providing a clean, organized, and comfortable workspace within a weld shop/machine shop setting.
