Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the front desk, bell, valet, and retail areas, providing support as needed to ensure a high level of service.
  • Schedule shifts and supervise front-office personnel, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective communication.
  • Communicate pertinent information to the leadership team and staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operation.
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-stocked with necessary stationery and materials.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer service, resolving guest concerns and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Train and support office staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Handle internal and external guest concerns and specific customer requests, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Monitor stock and order office supplies, troubleshooting emergencies as needed.
  • Organize and manage the office budget, ensuring accurate records of expenses and costs.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies and security requirements, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of LMS (Learning Management System) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with office machines, such as fax machines and printers.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and proficiency in English (oral and written).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Good organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations, recognizing standards required by a regulated business.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience managing front office operations.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands
  • May be subject to a smoking environment and moderate noise levels.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment involving constant activity.
  • Must be able to stoop, reach, and bend as necessary.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast-paced environment.
