Seeking a Hematopathology Specialist

Children's Mercy Hospital (MO) is a leading pediatric healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled Hematopathology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing our clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clinical laboratory services, including flow cytometry, clinical laboratory coagulation, hematology, and transfusion medicine.
  • Evaluate bone marrow aspirate/biopsy/peripheral smears as needed.
  • Collaborate with our research laboratories to advance cutting-edge research and diagnostic tests.
  • Contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematopathology and Clinical Pathology.
  • Eligible for an active, unrestricted Missouri and Kansas medical license.
  • Academic appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology at The University of Missouri Kansas City.
