HEMATOPATHOLOGY/CLINICAL PATHOLOGY POSITION

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a highly skilled and experienced hematopathologist to join our Division of Clinical Pathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision of lab services, including flow cytometry, clinical laboratory coagulation, hematology, and transfusion medicine.
  • Evaluate bone marrow aspirate/biopsy/peripheral smears as needed.
  • Collaborate with various clinical sections and research laboratories, including genetics and a world-class genome center.
  • Contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology.
  • Eligible for an active, unrestricted Missouri and Kansas medical license.
  • Academic appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology at The University of Missouri Kansas City.
