Vision Assessment: Must be completed within the first week of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute standard testing protocols on machinery; document and evaluate outcomes.
- Utilize precision instruments for assembly, inspections, calibration, and evaluation of fuel systems.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Interpret electronic work instructions, schematics, and quality standards.
- Assess components for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately maintain documentation and records.
- Organize workspaces and tools in accordance with Visual Management and 5S Standards.
- Be available for overtime, including weekends.
- Engage in daily Tier meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and problem-solving activities.
- Must be a US Citizen
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mechanical and technical fields
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, internet usage)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs.
- 2-3 years of experience in assembly/testing manufacturing
- NC WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate (Silver/Gold preferred)
- Six Sigma training or certification
- Associate degree
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to 5-S principles
- Experience in continuous improvement processes
- Potential exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological, or other physical hazards.
- Steel-toe footwear is mandatory.
- On-the-job training will occur during first shift hours.
- Only local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
- No relocation assistance will be provided.
