Position Summary:

This role is pivotal in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests by ensuring the prompt delivery and collection of ski and snowboard gear. You will provide immediate and courteous service to members, coordinating with various departments to communicate member arrivals and requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized valet area and equipment storage. A positive demeanor in high-pressure situations is essential.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $23.04
  • Availability: Full Time & Part Time
  • Skill Level: Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests by name and engage in meaningful conversation.
  • Work outdoors in challenging winter conditions.
  • Manage all ski/snowboard equipment with appropriate labeling, ensuring organized storage.
  • Track and transport members' equipment at the beginning and end of their stay or when they finish skiing/snowboarding.
  • Organize ski/snowboard gear on designated racks for easy access.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the valet area at all times.
  • Assist guests by providing prompt and courteous answers to inquiries and fulfilling special requests.
  • Utilize boot dryers at the end of each day and store boots neatly in members' lockers the following morning.
  • Coordinate equipment drop-off and return with delivery services.
  • Ensure timely return of all rental equipment.
  • Document ski tuning instructions and manage equipment transportation to and from the ski shop.
  • Maintain inventory of consumable products and communicate restocking needs.
  • Handle phone inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services and pricing.
  • Support public valet and front desk operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • Prior experience in guest services is essential.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check if required for driving duties.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in harsh winter conditions is necessary.
  • Capability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Availability to work the entire season, including weekends and holidays, is mandatory.
  • Adherence to Presentation Policy is required.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

The expected pay range is $23.04. This is the anticipated compensation for this position, with individual salary decisions based on various factors.
