Assist in enhancing the branch's sales performance by actively engaging with clients regarding new product offerings, services, and pricing through proactive communication methods such as outbound calls and in-person discussions.
Conduct outreach to both existing and former customer accounts. Ensure that sales initiatives within the designated area are maintained by keeping clients informed about available services, pricing, and product updates.Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels including in-person visits, phone inquiries, and email correspondence.
Manage all facets of the sales process including order entry, purchase order management, payment processing, and providing accurate quotes and delivery timelines to ensure the correct items are ordered.
Suggest alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications as necessary.Track and verify scheduled shipment dates to guarantee timely delivery and facilitate expedited processes when required. Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors to coordinate shipments.
Drive new and repeat sales by delivering timely product and technical information.
Educate clients on product terminology, features, and benefits to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Provide precise information regarding the availability of in-stock items. Conduct inventory counts as necessary. Restock the showroom as required. Assist clients with warranty claims and returns.
Work alongside the Branch Manager to identify effective solutions for resolving issues, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies.
Coordinate problem resolution with relevant departments.Handle daily cash drawer operations, including end-of-shift cash counts, preparing deposit slips, and securing funds.
Regularly reach out to clients to assess their satisfaction with the company’s products and services. Monitor competitive activities and trends within the assigned territory.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on sales activities. Expand knowledge of HVAC products and stay updated with the latest industry trends.Collaborate positively with all levels of management and colleagues to ensure seamless operations and deliver the highest quality of service.
Understand and adhere to operational procedures, work instructions, and company policies.May require travel to client locations for follow-ups, presentations, or demonstrations.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and product movement, while safely operating a forklift.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Familiarity with HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and knowledgeable in database applications.
Demonstrated high-quality customer service and relationship management skills through various communication channels.
Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor, effectively managing challenging customer interactions.
Ability to build rapport and demonstrate effective listening skills. Proficient phone and email etiquette. Professionalism characterized by patience, composure, and tact. Capable of handling high volumes of customer inquiries.
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical parts information clearly.Effective written communication skills, ensuring timely and accurate correspondence with clients and precise order entry.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to foster positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate sound judgment, strong work ethics, and integrity in all job functions.
Ability to assist in warehouse tasks and operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Ability to comprehend and follow established procedures, work instructions, and company policies.Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive sales and customer service experience, with at least 5 years in the HVAC industry.
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent; some college education preferred. HVAC certification is a plus.
