Job SummaryThis pivotal role is responsible for leading and managing the pre-appointment estimator team, driving high performance, and adhering to company standards. Key Responsibilities- extbf{Department Leadership:}
- Lead and manage the pre-appointment estimator team to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- extbf{Process Optimization:}
- Develop and implement efficient processes for customer communication, damage documentation, and parts coordination to enhance overall department efficiency.
- extbf{Customer Service Excellence:}
- Oversee customer interactions to ensure exceptional service, address any issues or escalations, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- extbf{Training and Development:}
- Train, mentor, and support team members, providing ongoing guidance to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- extbf{Quality Control:}
- Review and validate parts-only estimates prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- extbf{Collaboration:}
- Work closely with other departments, including the collision managers and regional managers to facilitate communication.
- extbf{Performance Monitoring:}
- Track and analyze department performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- extbf{Professional Experience:}
- 5+ years of experience in management within the collision industry or relevant Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair preferred.
- extbf{Solution Oriented:}
- Demonstrating a high ability to identify root cause of problems and develop solutions.
- extbf{Excellent Communication Skills:}
- Ability to inspire team to achieve business targets.
- extbf{Self-Management:}
- Capable of self-managing and working independently in limited supervision environments.
- extbf{Adaptability:}
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- extbf{Automotive Knowledge:}
- Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures and knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the collision repair of vehicles.
- extbf{Communication Skills:}
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions with experience with Microsoft Office, understanding of repair estimates.
- extbf{Driver's License:}
- Valid driver's license preferred.
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
