Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will assist the Manager of Continuous Improvement and Quality in ensuring that the organization's products and services meet the company's quality requirements and comply with customer and regulatory standards.

This is an on-site position, and the ideal candidate will reside within commuting distance of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and adherence to the quality program.
  • Perform periodic audits of in-process quality checklists, forms, and other documents.
  • Audit work performance to standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the development of in-process quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Participate in and lead root cause and corrective action analysis to help resolve quality defect issues.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience as a quality engineer, technician, or process and/or product quality related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to train staff.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
