Job Summary:

To provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients, our ideal candidate will assess their condition, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
2. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and medical specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including symptoms, treatment plans, and outcomes.
6. Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
7. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
8. Provide guidance and support to healthcare staff, including physicians' assistants, nursing staff, and medical support staff.
9. Ensure patient satisfaction and promote a positive patient experience.
10. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric medicine. Prior experience as a staff physician is desirable.

Working Conditions:

This role requires some manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. There is some occupational risk, and the physical effort is sedentary/light, with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force. The physical environment is generally pleasant, with minimal exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
