Job Overview

Total Respiratory & Rehab is a fast-growing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company that provides a wide variety of respiratory equipment, such as CPAPs/BiPAPs, oxygen concentrators, and other respiratory equipment.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform daily financial tasks, including reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy, entering invoice data into the accounting system, and maintaining organized files of invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for and payments are correct.
  • Contact vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, request missing information, or clarify billing issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience as an AP Clerk or related role, with proficiency in accounts payable software such as QuickBooks Online or NetSuite.
  • Strong data entry skills, high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail are essential for accurately reviewing and verifying invoices.
  • Ability to understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes and deal with confidential information.
