Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Provide activities for residents with special needs, such as those who are depressed, terminally ill, or bedridden.
  • Encourage resident participation and involvement in activities, fostering a sense of community and social connection.
  • Prepare for and participate in resident care conferences to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with the care team.
  • Prepare sites and materials for activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for residents.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid CNA certification in the State of Florida.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Prior experience working with elderly patients is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
