About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Amazon Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the long-term product vision for our Forecasting and Supply Chain capabilities.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will work closely with our engineering, science, and business stakeholders to develop and execute a strategy that accelerates our ability to experiment and launch products. You will be responsible for defining the 3-5 year vision for Forecasting products, working with scientists and engineers to achieve that vision, and driving strategic communications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working backwards from customer problems to define the 3-5 year vision for Forecasting products
  • Driving strategic communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals
  • Communicating, earning trust, and influencing stakeholders from multiple organizations
  • Working backwards from customers in the supply chain and business units to proactively identify opportunities
  • Experimenting and scaling new products and models from prototype to production worldwide
  • Diving into technical solutions and alternatives to understand areas of opportunity, defects, and customer needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools, as well as experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
