Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Endoscopy Center are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a difference every day.

The CRNA will be employed under formal standardized procedures in collaboration with physicians. As a key member of the anesthesia care team, you will provide medical care in a safe, cost-efficient manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of patients
  • Review and order laboratory/diagnostic studies, as permitted by state law
  • Acquire informed consent for anesthesia and related services
  • Select, acquire, order, and administer pre-anesthetic medication or treatment
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
  • Select, acquire, prepare, and use equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies, and drugs for sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services
  • Select, order, obtain, and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, fluids, or blood products
  • Perform all aspects of airway management, including fiberoptic intubation
  • Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by evaluating patient response and selecting, ordering, and administering medications, fluids, and ventilatory support
  • Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system
  • Initiate and administer respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation in the post-anesthesia period
  • Evaluate the patient's response to anesthesia and surgery and take appropriate corrective action during the post-anesthesia period
  • Provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care
  • Discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care unit
  • Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities
  • Lead emergency situations by assessing, stabilizing, and determining disposition of patients

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Masters' Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice Preferred
  • California registered nurse license and CRNA license required
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Lift Support (ACLS)
  • 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred

We offer a competitive salary of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
