About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Fire Alarm Installation Specialist to join our team at Everon LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to showcase their expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with local and national codes. Additionally, they will provide exceptional customer support, educate clients on system operation, and perform thorough testing and signal verification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems
  • Provide reliable customer support and education on system operation
  • Perform thorough testing and signal verification
  • Maintain necessary truck stock and inventory (equipment and tools)
  • Organize technical resources and information for efficient task execution
  • Monitor and ensure task progress and completion
  • Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training
  • Three or more years of experience in commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
  • Mastery knowledge of local/national codes
  • Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures in English
Certifications/Licensing
  • Must obtain and retain specific product certifications and/or licenses required by national, state, and local codes
  • Requires 50% to 75% proficiency in Everon Commercial's Tier 1 product offerings
Work Environment
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments

Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear
  • Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with 'on call availability' and must be able to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
Pay and Benefits Disclosure

The pay range for this role is $25.10 - $41.83 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer paid holidays.
