Respiratory Therapist Level I

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team. As a key member of the respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the effective management of respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities- Administer therapeutic procedures, including oxygen delivery and ventilator support, to achieve adequate oxygenation and ventilation.
- Monitor and maintain mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilators, and be aware of critical care duties and effects of such therapy.
- Evaluate current therapies using appropriate judgment and protocols, making proper recommendations concerning plans of care and patient education needs.
- Document therapy and results as required by hospital, department, and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate information to appropriate members of the healthcare team.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
