Respiratory Therapist Level I

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the effective management of respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer therapeutic procedures, including oxygen delivery and ventilator support, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures and evaluate patient responses to therapy, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilators, ensuring critical care duties are performed with precision.
- Document therapy and results, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Work independently in emergency settings, performing and evaluating blood sampling analysis with a thorough understanding of values and treatment protocols.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association.
