About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate statistical reports and perform clerical functions such as preparing and sending outgoing mail, distributing incoming mail, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Verify and enter demographic information into our electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage basic accounting functions, including checking invoices, making deposits, and maintaining petty cash.
  • Collect patient co-pay, co-insurance, and prior balances, and maintain daily batches and perform end-of-day functions and balancing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of medical record experience or 3 years of physician practice experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision required.
