Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing administrative support to our healthcare team, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and testing
  • Verify and enter demographic information into our electronic medical record system
  • Process patient payments, co-pays, and insurance claims
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Assist with medical records requests, releases, and transfers
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of medical record experience; 3 years of physician practice experience preferred
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
